Her death certificate indicated she was born in St Just, her parents were Christopher LEGGO miner and Betsey LEGGO formerly TONKIN, and she had been 49 years in Victoria. She was married in Cornwall and her husband was Richard EDDY, dead. Children named were Mary dead, Richard dead, John 65, James dead, Thomas 61, Esther 59 and William dead.Obituary: The Bendigo Advertiser, Saturday 13 July 1907 (Victoria, Australia) OBITUARY The death took place on Thursday of Mrs. Ann Eddy at her residence, Derwent Gully, Sparrowhawk, at the advanced age of 90 years. The deceased lady, who was the mother of Mr. Thomas Eddy, of Chum-street, was a native of St. Just, Cornwall, England, and came to this State 49 years ago, having resided in Bendigo for 40 years. Consequent on her advanced years, her health had been failing for a considerable time. Her husband pre-deceased her many years ago. She leaves two sons and a daughter.
