In 1861 at Letcha, William and Elizabeth have their daughters Amelia, Ann and Eliza living at home. In the 1871 Census Elizabeth Thomas is recorded as living at Letcha Cottage with her daughter Eliza who is unmarried and her occupation is a tin dresser. Elizabeth is aged 62 and Eliza aged 20. In 1881 still at Letcha she has her 14 year old granddaughter Susan Eddy living with her.

She was married to William THOMAS (son of Edmund THOMAS and Susanna SEMMENS) on 24 Mar 1832 in St Just in Penwith Cornwall. William THOMAS was baptised on 4 Sep 1803 in St Just in Penwith Cornwall. He died before 9 Jan 1865 in Letcha, St Just. William was aged 61. He was buried on 9 Jan 1865 in St Just in Penwith Cornwall. William was a miner. In 1841 at Bosavern Mills William and Elizabeth THOMAS and children are living in the same cottage as Elizabeth BENNETTS who is Elizabeth's mother. She is a widow. Her sons John, Thomas and Hugh are also in the household. William and Elizabeth THOMAS are aged 30 and their children are William 10, Elizabeth 7 and Susan is 4 years old. In the 1851 census at Bosaverne we have William and Elizabeth THOMAS have 3 more children. In 1861 William is aged 56, his wife Elizabeth aged 52, and their three daughters are still living at home. Amelia 19, Ann Sophia 17 and Eliza Selina is aged 12. The family is recorded at Letcha. After William died Elizabeth was living at Letcha Cottage with her 20 year old daughter Eliza.
