Shared note	Previously had Mary Ann's birth details as 1848, Ashton, but I believe this is due to confusion with Mary Ann's sister-in-law also named Mary Ann, wife of Charles. In the 1881 census the Mary Ann born in Ashton and aged 33 (b. 1848) is clearly recorded as daughter-in-law to head John.
