MRS. S. T. CHAPPELL

Mrs. Susan Thomas Chappell, wife of Mr. Thomas Chappell, Moonta Mines, passed away on December 24, at the age of 81 years. The deceased was one of the oldest residents of the district. She was born at St Just, Cornwall, and came out to Australia in the ship Salamanca 64 years ago. She proceeded direct to Moonta, where she had since resided. The deceased was a great worker for the Red Cross Society during the war, and was a member of the Moonta Mines Methodist Church. The husband, one son (Mr. Frederick Charles, Moonta Mines), and one daughter (Mrs. W. J. Yelland, Adelaide), survive.

DEATHS

CHAPPELL.— On the 24th December, 1929, at Moonta Mines, Susan Thomas Chappell, the beloved wife of Thomas Henry Chappell, and loving mother of Frederick C. Chappel, Moonta Mines, and Florence E. Yelland, Plympton Park, perfect peace.
