| Shared note | It appears that Peter married twice, and ironically the second wife was another Catherine (EDWARDS). There is a burial for a Catherine CASLEY ('wife of Peter') 1802 in St Just, and as I can find no prior Peter and Catherine marriage, it must be this couple. Also, as there are baptisms recorded to a Peter and Catherine after this burial, the conclusion I've drawn is that the same Peter married both Catherines. In the 1841 census at Nanpean, St Just (ref 8-41): Casley Peter 65 Tin Miner Casley Catharine 70 Peter was buried 10 Aug 1846 in St Just, aged 73 of Nanpean. |
