Shared note

Possible marriages for Mary are to: (a) Richard OSBORN of Madron, Labourer, married 9 Sep 1826 in St Buryan, Mary a spinster of this parish. Witnesses William and John EDDY. (b) Charles DALE, 24 Dec 1833 in Paul

Couple (a) are in the 1841 census at Jamaica Place, Madron (ref 14-56): Osborne Richd. 35 Ag. Lab. Osborne Mary 35 Osborne Catherine 15 Osborne Mary 12 Osborne John 2

This is a good fit for a couple of reasons. Firstly, Mary's age is about right, and secondly Jamaica Place is where Mary's sister is living in the 1871 census. This is probably not a coincidence. I then looked up the baptism entry for Catherine and found her father Richard recorded as a labourer of 'Trevorrian'. This additional connection is enough for me to believe this is the correct family for this Mary EDDY.
