Shared note	John was stated as being 'of this parish' when he married Jane in Sancreed, and the witnesses were John ROWE and Richard REMFRY. Assuming John was at least 16 when married, possible baptism entries for him are: (a) John EDDY, son of John and Susanna, 5 Aug 1749, St Just in Penwith, (b) John EADY, son of John and Jane, 8 Oct 1751, Sancreed There are several entries in Zennor but I have ignored these. Whilst I cannot eliminate (a), (b) would be the best fit for several reasons. Firstly it is in Sancreed, and secondly the marriage details for couple (b) show the bride's name as Jane REMFRY - it was a Richard REMFRY that was witness to John EDDY and Jane ROWE's marriage. Furthermore, there is a Will made 2 May 1787 for Jane EDDY, widow of Sancreed, naming her sons Wm. REMPHRY, Richard REMPHRY (exec.) and John EDDY. So, assuming this is the same person, the witness Richard REMFRY, would've been John EADY's half brother.
