| Shared note | Peter's baptism record only states his father John, and no mother. I think it is likely that he is the son of John and Susanna, mainly because the name Peter is passed down to some of their grandchildren. The marriage to Jane ROWE in Paul appears to be the only one at an appropriate time to match this Peter, and Philimore and Taylor transcript states he was a sojourner (i.e. not originally of Paul). Note that Jane was recorded as being a widow of Paul (the parish). Notes from Geoff McKee: Peter EDDY was buried 29 May 1831, St Just aged 72 of Trewellard Entry: 1076, Fiche ref: FP95 1/27 I can't find any children baptised to this couple, or to a Peter EDDY around this time. |
