| Shared note | From Cornwall OPC:«b» The Will of James Trezise, dated 13 September 1841 «/b»In the name of God. Amen. This is the last Will and Testament of James Trezise of the Parish of Saint Just in Penwith in the County of Cornwall, Yeoman. First. I give and bequeath unto my Dear Wife Grace Trezise, during such time as she shall remain a Widow after my decease, One Annuity or clear yearly Rent Charge of Twelve Pounds of lawful English money, to be paid unto her by even and equal quarterly payments, and to be issuing and payable out of my Freehold and Leasehold Estates situate in the said Parish of Saint Just, which I hereby make subject to the payment of such Annuity unto my said Wife; and in case She shall not like to abide with my Family after my decease, she shall be paid a quarter's Annuity, or Three Pounds, in advance, on the day which she shall leave the Family. Also. I give and bequeath unto my Four Daughters Jane White, Mary Hallow, Elizabeth Eddy, and Charlotte Trezise, the sum of Fifteen Pounds apiece of lawful money as aforesaid the same to be issuing and payable unto them out of my said Estates on the day that my son Richard Trezise shall, or will if living, attain to the age of Twenty-one years. Also. I give, devise, and bequeath unto my Son Henry Trezise all that my Leasehold Estate situate in the Tenement of Kenidjack in the said Parish of Saint Just To hold the same to him, his Executors, Administrators, and Assigns from the day that my said Son Richard Trezise shall attain to the age of Twenty-one years, during my Estate, Term, and Interest herein before given unto my said Wife and Four said Daughters in manner and form aforesaid, and also subject to the payment of one Third Part of my just debts, funeral expenses, and cost of proving this my Will. Lastly. I give, devise, and bequeath all and every my Freehold and Leasehold Messuages, Lands, Tenements, Hereditaments, and Premises, and all other Goods, Chattels, Monies, Rights, Credits, Property, and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever (not herein before given devised or disposed of) unto my Two Sons James Trezise and Richard Trezise, to each of them one full Moiety or Half Part thereof To hold to him his Heirs, Executors, Administrators, and Assigns, from the day that he my said Son Richard Trezise shall attain to the age of Twenty-one years, for and during my Estate, Term, and Interest therein; subject nevertheless to the payment of one Third Part of the said Annuity and Legacies herein before given to my said Wife and Daughters aforesaid, and also subject to the payment of One Third Part of my just debts, funeral expenses, and cost of proving this my Will. And I do hereby appoint my Son William Trezise to act as Trustee over all my said Property and Effects, whom I empower to transact all Business respecting the same, to let all Lands and Tenements and to receive all Rents and Incomes arising therefrom, and to apply the same to the utmost of his ability for the purpose of paying my debts and maintaining my Family in every way conformable to this my Will until the day that my said Son Richard Trezise shall, or will if living, attain to the age of Twenty-one years, on which day the power of my said Son William Trezise as Trustee shall cease, and he shall then account for and pay to his Brothers all monies lying in his hand which shall belong to them, and all my Children shall then receive and possess their respective Portions of my Property as herein before given to them. And I do hereby also make, nominate, and appoint my said Son William Trezise the sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament, utterly revoking and disannulling all former Wills made by me.
