Notes from Geoff McKee: The will made 28 May 1730 by John STEVENS, merchant of St Ives, named Catherine EDDY, daughter of his sister Charity GARTRELL, and her children. David EDDY, yeoman of Zennor, with property in Bosiggran and Forwall, made a will 22 Sep 1733. The will named his wife Catherine; sons Andrew, William, Patrick (all under 21), David, Philip and Richard (execs.); daughters Catherine, wife of Jno. MADDREN, and Anne, wife of Nicholas CHRISTOFERS; and grandson David. Witnesses were John RENAUDE jun. and David EDDY [both signed] and Mark DANIELL. The will made 24 Nov 1753 by Richard EDDY of Ludgvan; yeoman with land in Zennor and Gulval, named, as children of his brother David EDDY dec., David EDDY of Ludgvan, Catherine EDDY, and Philip, Richard, William and Patrick EDDY. Witnesses were Geo. BONLACE and John KNILL.
