Shared note

Notes from David John & Lorraine Eddy: Harold, as he was known, was born at the Walleroo Mines, South Australia. Very little is spoken of him or his life. He enlisted in the Army during WW1, although it is not known where he served. He married and his wife and three stillborn infants were buried in Kalgoorlie. He entered into a de facto relationship with a woman who owned or managed a boarding house in Kalgoorlie, who was only remembered as Audrey to his nephews and nieces. Audrey had children by a previous marriage and while it is believed she and Harold did not marry, it is certain they had no children as a result of their relationship. Bert, his brother, visited him from time to time with one of his children but Leila never went.
