| Shared note | In the 1871 census at Madron, ref 12-130: EDDY William Head M 33 St Buryan EDDY Grace Wife M 25 Camborne In the 1881 Census with father, William. I had information of the names of the children in this family from Tommy Cuddy of St Just. The names he knew them by was Richard (Tommy's father-in-law), Annie, Lylie, William, Janie and Louisa. Tommy's wife, Ethel Louisa, was buried with her father Richard, and from the monumental inscription he must've been born about 1881. I then found Richard in the 1881 census, with the foolwing siblings: Prudence A., Eliza, Mary L., and William E. At first glance these names don't match those given by Tommy Cuddy, however, I believe many of the children were known by their middle names, so Prudence A. was Annie, Eliza may have been known as Lylie, Mary L. was Louisa. Not sure about Janie - possibly Elizabeth's middle name if she had one (although not recorded as having an initial in the 1891 census).
