Marriage

Notes from Geoff McKee: John EDDY (son of Matthew EDDY and Elizabeth GEORGE) farmer of Bosellvern, widower of full age married Mary GARD (daughter of James GARD and Mary STEVENS) spinster of Bosanketh, of full age 18 Apr 1844 St Buryan. [Matthew EDDY was a farmer. James GARD was a lab.]

Shared note

Matthew (John's father's) mentioned in his will he was of Bosliven, St Buryan. It appears that the farm went to John, as the marriage register entries for some of John's children (Elizabeth and Jane) stated they were from Bosliven (or "Rosliven"), and when John married a second time the marriage register had that he was of "Bosellvern".
