| Shared note | In the 1841 census, Richard was living with his son, Richard, in Morvah. He is recorded as Independent, aged 86. This age would suggest he was born abt 1755, but I cannot find a baptism for a Richard in that year. However, there is one baptised 9 Apr 1757, Morvah, son of Andrew. As there are no apprpriate alternatives and also given that Richard has a grandson named Andrew, I believe this to be the correct baptism. Looking for possible wives of Richard, assuming Richard was at least 18 when married and was married before his son Richard was baptised, possible marriages between 1773 and 1787 in and around Morvah are Richard and: (a) Catherine ROBERTS, 14 Feb 1774, Madron (b) Catherine CHRISTOPHER, 13 May 1776, Zennor (c) Ann TRENBATH, 22 Sep 1781, Gulval (d) Elizabeth TREMBATH, 29 Jan 1785, Zennor (e) Margaret INGWIN, 15 Jun 1786, Zennor Of these I have researched (c) and can eliminate her. Although not certain, I believe (d) is the wife of this Richard, as Richard has a granddaughter (by his son, Richard) named Elizabeth Trembath EDDY. There are other children that could belong to Richard and Elizabeth, but it is difficult to say with any surety since only Richard was recorded in the baptism registers.
