| Shared note | Found on First Families 2001 (http://www.firstfamilies2001.net.au/firstfamily.cfm?id=EDDY1319111158) details of a Richard from Morvah who married a Jennifer BOLITHO from St Just in Penwith. An email to the contributor, Bob Bolitho, confirmed that Richard's parents were Richard and Patience. This has since been found to concur with Geoff McKee. Notes from Bob Bolitho: Jenifer and Richard arrived at Port Adelaide on 15 Oct 1848 on the "Santipore". Also on the "Santipore" were Richard's sisters Jane (with her husband Richard Cargeeg) and Mary (who subsequently married William Harvey). When Richard married Jennifer he was aged 26, a widower and a miner of Kergwin, son of Richard EDDY, farmer. Jennifer was a 28-year-old widow of Trewellard, daughter of Thomas Bolitho, miner. The service was conducted by J Cockin in the presence of Thomas BOLITHO and William NOYE. Richard died aged 36 of a gunshot wound. At the time he was in the company of Martin Trezise, brother of his wife's first husband.
