| Shared note | Notes from Geoff McKee: Patience EDDY was buried 3 Aug 1865 in St Just aged 77 of Trevean, Morvah. Previously I had Margaret's baptism as 6 Nov 1791 in Morvah, daughter of James DANIEL and Jane EDWARDS. Geoff McKee proposes an alternative baptism, 5 Aug 1792 Morvah, daughter of Thomas DANIEL and Margaret HARRY. I think the evidence he has to justify this is the will made 15 Jan 1832 by William RICHARDS of Morvah which named Patience EDDY [his stepdaughter]. It was proved 27 Jun 1832 to his son William. Reading between the lines, Thomas DANIEL must have died then Margaret DANIEL (nee HARRY) married William RICHARDS (the IGI has such a marriage 31 Jul 1795 in Madron). This is the William whose will mentions Patience EDDY, and probably William's son William is the one living with Patience in the 1861 census. |
