| Shared note | There appears to be a mistake somewhere as on the Monumental Inscription the date and age given for Jane's death suggests she was born after her baptism! Perhaps the age at death was incorrect, or there was a second Jane, or indeed that the Jane buried is possibly the daughter-in-law of Stephen and Catherine. Jane was aged 43 and unmarried in the 1861 census so could well have died a spinster, but either or both of the other possiblities, or something else, could explain the anomaly. |
