| Shared note | Although there are 2 burials for a John EDDY in the St Just burial register has (27 Oct 1835 and 1 Feb 1837, both entries noting that John died in infancy) I don't believe they refer to this John as he appears in the 1841-1891 census returns. The census returns quite consistently show a birth year of abt 1829, and the only appropriate baptism is that of this John, 15 Mar 1829 in St Just, son of John and Jane. In the 1841, 1851 and 1861 censuses John is living with his parents, and in the 1871 census I believe (as concurred by Geoff McKee) that this John EDDY was living with his brother Joseph. The CFHS 1871 census transcription has John recorded as a boarder, but this could have been mis-transcribed from brother.
