| Shared note | There is a marriage for an Esther EDDY to Richard BOLITHO, 11 Feb 1798 in Redruth, St Uny. As Esther is such an unusual name, and as the dates fit well with this Esther, I am inclined to believe they are the same person. Although Redruth would have been quite a distance away, further evidence would be that I have found no other baptisms for an Esther EDDY. This is the first incidence of the name Esther in the EDDY family (in fact the first of only 3 baptism records for an Esther EDDY). The probable origin of the name is from her aunt, Esther GRILLS, born 1745. |
