After a Google search I found a genealogy website (http://familytreemaker.genealogy.com/users/f/r/y/Steven-Micheal-Fry/WEBSITE-0001/UHP-0590.html) which records this very Richard as marrying Rebecca Himphill in Brown, Illinois, USA. This area is known for coal mining. It appears the website author is a direct descendant so have assumed all info on descendants to be correct. The above website records one child to Richard and Rebecca: Margrett Eddy, b. 12 Feb 1866, of, Brown, IL, d. 12 Mar 1904, pike co IL.
