Shared note

As William must have been at least 18 years old when he married Mary BOSENCE in 1780, he must have been born before 1762. There only 2 likely baptisms: (a) 23 Mar 1750, St Just in Penwith, son of John EDDY & Mary (b) 12 May 1754, St Just in Penwith, John EDDY & Susanna

The baptisms before and after these 2 are in 1734 and 1764 which would seem too old and too young respectively to be the William that married Mary BOSENCE.

I found a baptism for a Susanna, 23 Feb 1794, daughter of William and Ann, which I believe to be (b) due to his mother's name. Therefore, by elimination I believe this William to be (a).

William's wife remarried in 1787, recorded as a widow.
