Shared note

Lived in Eaglehawk and then moved to Northcote in about 1925. Benjamin died in 1929 and she then moved back to Eaglehawk and lived at 109 Victoria street with her parents. Lil then opened a knitting shop in High St. Eaglehawk and worked very hard knitting football jumpers and cardigans etc. In 1936 she remarried to Fred Snell. These were very happy times as she and Fred bowled together and Lil became president of the Eaglehawk Ladies Bowling Club. She was always very involved with the East Methodist church and was organist for many years.
