| Shared note | Ben was 54 when he got married. James Howard EDDY said that people had said starting a family so late in life meant he wouldn't live long enough to see the family grow up. However, Ben lived to see both his grandchildren born, and died aged 93. According to monumental inscription, Benjamin EDDY was buried 25 Apr 1957 aged 93 in St Just Cemetery with Jane EDDY, buried 26 Jul 1966 aged 79. |
