The following is the will of Jane EDDY:

Jane Eddy St Just in Penwith 1852 widow

In the name of God amen. This is the last will and testament of «b»Jane Eddy of the Parish of St Just in Penwith «/b»in the County of Cornwall. Widow.

First I give and bequeath unto «b»my grandaughter Mary, Catherine, Jane, Colliver, Condon, Eddy «/b»one annuity or clear yearly rent charge of eight pounds of lawful mony to be paid unto her by even and equal quarterly payments and to be issuing and payable out of my leasehold estate situate in the tenement of Carnyorth in the Parish of St Just aforesaid during the term of her natural life, in case my time in the said leasehold estate should to long continue.

Also I give devise and bequeath unto «b»my brother in law Henry Eddy «/b»all that my said leasehold estate situate in the said tenement of Carnyorth in the Parish of St Just, aforesaid to hold to him his Executors Administrators and Assigns, subject however to the4 payment of the annuity herein before made payable to my grandaughter aforesaid.

Lastly I give devise and bequeath all and every my freehold and leasehold messuages lands tenements hereditaments and premises and all other my goods chattels moneys rights credits property and effects whatsoever (not hereinbefore given or disposed of) unto «b»my said brother-in-law Henry Eddy «/b»to hold to him his heirs Executors Administrators and assigns respectively during my estate term and interest therein subject nevertheless to the payment of such annuity as in hereinbefore said to be paid to my Executor in manner and form as herein before directed and subject also to the payments of my just debts and funeral expenses and I do herby make nominate and appoint «b»my said brother in law Henry Eddy «/b»the whole and sole Executor of this my last will and testament utterly revoking and dismantle all former wills made by me. In witness whereof I the said Jane Eddy the Testator have herunto set my hand and seal this twenty sixth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty two.
