Shared note

Not sure where this family are in the 1841 census. It is possible that John is living with Elizabeth's parents, as there is a John aged 25 which would fit this John very well. There is no record for William aged about 1 though.

This family emigrated to Australia on the Marchioness of Salisbury. She left Plymouth 22 Nov 1854 and arrived in Geelong, Victoria on 21 Feb 1855. Also on the Marchioness were John's brothers Matthew (and family, wife Jane was Elizabeth's sister) and Richard (and family), as well as another of Elizabeth's sisters, Margaret.
