Although the EDDY surname appears throughout the county, historically it was concentrated at the western tip of Cornwall. When studying census returns from these areas I have found it very useful to refer to the following detailed parish maps as they show many of the placenames that are so distinct to this area. Parish maps: St. Just in Penwith, Morvah, St. Buryan, St. Levan, Sennen and Zennor.
